From my early days working for lululemon athletica, I've learned the importance and power of setting goals (that #bhag: big hairy audacious goals life!). I truly believe in the old adage that “thoughts become things” and by mapping out my goals and intentions, I am able to use it as my guide for the new year.
Moreover, I just returned from the most inspirational and rejuvenating yoga retreat with Amayour Surf in the dessert hills of Taghazout (Tamazirt) in Morocco and there, our yoga teacher and friend Francesca (a true goddess!) hosted a workshop where we learned to let go of the past and manifest the future. I returned to Paris having made peace with 2018 and refocused, with a sense of clarity, for the adventures that lie ahead.
This is the list I came up with for myself and unlike past years, I intentionally made sure to include some personal goals (vs. career goals) as I aim to shift some focus on myself and my wellbeing for once.

As you can see, I don’t have any outside-France travel goals because I’ve decided to travel less this year. I still have a lot of trips planned as my job depends on it but I plan to emphasize it less and enjoy it more. I spent so much of 2018 worrying to the point of paralysis when everything is/was going fine. In 2019, I want to have fun and laugh until my stomach hurts as much as I can.
I have a feeling in my bones that this year is going to be good. What do you want to achieve this year? Wishing you good vibes only. You’ve got this.
